Mayflower

Mayflower II at Pilgrim Memorial State Park pier in Plymouth MA Mayflower II, Plimoth's full-scale reproduction of the tall ship that brought the Pilgrims to Plymouth in 1620 has finally returned to her berth at State Pier in Pilgrim Memorial State Park to commemorate the 400th anniversary of the Pilgrims' arrival on New England's shores! We are excited to welcome you aboard this newly restored vessel, and we hope to see you on the Plymouth waterfront this season!

Like most people, I was immediately struck by how small the ship seemed - particularly in the 'tween decks, where the passengers were confined. How could 102 people, including three pregnant mothers, have survived more than ten weeks in a space this size?
