Experience Plimoth as you've never seen it before- after hours! Join us for our evening series of 17th-Century-inspired cocktails, craft, and just enough learning.
Enjoy a relaxing night of creating easy, all natural, plant-based bath and body products for your next spa night! Create a beeswax hand salve and facial scrub using grits from our very own Plimoth Grist Mill. Cash bar available.
Travel across time periods and cultures with an evening of natural indigo fabric dyeing. Learn the Japanese art of shibori and the later uses of indigo in17th-century Europe. Participants will be provided with all materials including one cotton scarf for dyeing, and are encouraged to bring one other small item to keep the fun going. No experience necessary.
What is a local grain economy, and how did it end up in your cocktail? Find out during this walking tour of Plimoth Grist Mill and Dirty Water Distillery! Join Kim VanWormer, Plimoth’s Artisan Miller and Plimoth Grist Mill Manager, for this special after-hours event. Start the evening at Plimoth Grist Mill with a conversation about local grains and milling. Continue the experience with a guided evening stroll along Town Brook to Dirty Water Distillery where we will sample and learn about micro-distilled spirits from the experts!
